Have you noticed that most online shoe stores, only offer pumps in sizes 5 to 10? It’s almost as if they’ve forgotten those of use who wear heels in sizes 11 to 16.

Aside from browsing all the stores on our website that offer size 13 heels, pumps, wedges, and more, there are other ways of finding cute pumps in larger sizes.

So worry not, here are some helpful tips and tricks to help you find heels online with a little more ease than normal.

1. Search for Size 13 Heels Specifically

A really good website that knows how to help you find what you’re looking for, usually has a search bar. Often, you can find the search bar by looking for the magnifying glass icon. If there are no filtering options, then using the website’s native search bar is your next best ticket to finding your size.

It’s important that you don’t give up after the first search; not everyone thinks and write the way you do, so it definitely helps to try a combination of keywords to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Additionally, you can also use these keywords when searching on Google for heels in your size, just be sure to use these Google searching tips to find exactly what you want.

Personally, I prefer to use websites where I can filter by size, but, using the search bar is super helpful on websites that don’t offer a nice filtering option.

 2. Use the Filter to Find Size 13+ Heels

As mentioned above, filters are great if you know how to use them.

Some online stores are great, and have super efficient filters for their shoes, but often times, selecting too many filter options might make it harder to find heels in your size, and here’s how.

On websites that don’t have the best filtering system, the following filter selection (blue, wedge, platform, 13US) could give you zero results, even if there are similar products. If you think like a basic computer, it can only do one thing at a time. So, first it looks for all the blue shoes, and let’s say it finds blue shoes. Great!

Then it looks in the pool of blue shoes for wedges, and let’s say it finds 25 wedges.

After that, it looks for platforms in that pool of 25 blue wedges, and brings back 1 shoe.

That one pair of heels that it found is not a size 13, so your filtered search brings back nothing.

What you don’t know is that 10 out of the original 25 blue wedges, are actually in a size 13, but aren’t labeled as platforms, or are mislabeled, so you’d miss out on your chance to find something similar to what you wanted.

End point, when using filters to find heels in your size, always start off with the most basic choice, aka, the non-negotiable (your shoe size), and then filter slowly based on what the website brings up.
